2. Acceptance Criteria

2.1 Procedures
  1. Documents such as drawings, specifications and hydraulic calculations shall be submitted to the FC for review before a sprinkler system is installed, modified and sent to tender.

  2.  
  3. After completion of a sprinkler system, the sprinkler contractor shall furnish a written statement or certificate to the effect that the work covered by the contract has been completed in accordance with the approved tender documents.

  4.  
  5. The acceptance tests shall be performed by the sprinkler contractor and witnessed by the FC, except as permitted in (d).

  6.  
  7. Subject to the approval of the FC, the acceptance tests may be witnessed by a representative of the department or agency concerned and a certificate shall be completed and duly signed by that representative and by the sprinkler contractor and forwarded to the FC. 
2.2 Documents
  1. Tender documents such as drawings, specifications and hydraulic calculations described in 2.1 shall contain information as listed in Appendix A - 2.2 and NFPA 13, "Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems".

  2.  
  3. Working drawings, specifications and hydraulic calculations bearing the seal and signature of a professional engineer shall be submitted to the FC for review before a sprinkler system is installed and modified.
