Hangers and Supports
All pipes shall be supported with adjustable hangers
of size and spacing as follows:
Pipe Size Hanger Spacing (Max.) Rod Size
Up to 25mm 1.8m 9.5mm
32mm to 50mm 2.8m 9.5mm
65mm to 100mm 3.0m 12.5mm
150mm and larger 3.7m 12.5mm
Hangers shall be secured to building steel with
beam clamps or to floor slab with malleable iron inserts.
Vibration type hangers shall be provided within
15 meters of all rotating equipment and pressure reducing
valves.
