Established in 1946 as Ulmer Sails, UK-Halsey Sailmakers is one of the oldest group of sail lofts in North America. The UK-Halsey group has over 50 lofts and service centers around the world. In the spring of 2005, UK Sailmakers merged with the Halsey-Lidgard. The merger of two of the premiere sail brands formed one of the most comprehensive worldwide sailmakers in the world. The purpose of this merger was to be able to deliver the best sails of highest quality using most advanced technologies, to customers anywhere around the world.
