The X-34 is being designed, developed
and specified to reach a high level of quality for the enjoyment
of the performance oriented sailor and his crew or family.
She is the smallest member of the Performance Cruising range,
enabling us to offer a “baby sister” for the X-37
and X-40.
The philosophy
WORLD CLASS SINCE 1979
Elegant, high performing and comfortable.
Timeless, yet modern, with a proven building formula
and careful attention to detail, in cooperation with
highly respected suppliers. Delivered and supported
by X-Yachts, a determined and skilled
international organisation.
This is the philosophy of all X-Yachts and it continues
with our X-34; the smallest in the performance cruiser
range. High quality craftsmanship and key features
such as the galvanized steel keel girders laminated
into the hull; rudderstock in special aluminium, with
self-aligning needle bearings; batteries and tanks
located centrally; all add to the stability, strength and
safety of our yachts.
Dual-purpose
Family cruiser and exhilarating racer
The hull lines are smooth and harmonious. The cockpit is
stylish and the deck layout clean and uncluttered. X-Yachts
designers and engineers have 28 years of experience in producing
dual-purpose yachts. The X-34 with her high stability, makes
her easy to handle for the cruising family, yet exhilarating
for the crew on the racecourse under IRC and IMS.
Function
Making living aboard easy and safe
The X-34 sports a non-overlapping headsail configuration
which makes handling the yacht from the large steering wheel
smooth and easy. Stainless steel handrails are fitted to
the coach roof. The head stay furler drum is neatly recessed
below deck as is the anchor locker, with optional electric
anchor windlass. An “easy to launch” life raft
is stored under the cockpit floor behind the helmsman.
The discontinuous rod rigging is standard and the main sheet
is led under the deck. Particular attention has been paid
to all details; the recessed hull fittings and the fairing
of rudder and keel to gain speed and perfect balance.
Comfort
A feeling of space and light
A traditional layout with a modern look elegantly provided
by the horizontally grained mahogany interior.
Two comfortable double cabins with optimum ventilation
from the opening port lights and skylights in the coach
roof.
Relaxation
Enjoy your time on board
The spacious saloon has an L-shaped galley with plenty of
for onboard cooking, and a dedicated navigation table for
all the navigational and electronic equipment needed to
plan your next voyage.
